Q1 What is InfoBiz?
A1 As the name implies it is information about businesses. InfoBiz is a business information service, which provides a complete overview of all the details of a business, available to the public on the Internet and with SMS messages. InfoBiz hosts and maintains this information for the businesses and allows every business to get the best Internet exposure for the lowest price. This information includes a complete overview of the whole business and focuses on specific details, which is of importance to the public. This information is available on 9 different pages and is fully database driven for InfoCountry and the respective business to update and maintain the information as regularly as needed. InfoBiz intends to provide the business with a fully web based information service. 

The main mission of InfoBiz is to provide a business with an easy solution to add their details to the Internet with the minimum effort, time and costs involved and still provide all the services that is expected by a business for an Internet service.

Q2 What makes InfoBiz different from other web site development services and from web site builders?
A2 InfoBiz specializes in information hosting and not web site development. This simply means that we provide services and innovative concepts to view, host and to maintain information for a business on a centralized located system. We further enhance this service to make the information available for the public on a user-friendly interface.

Q3 So, what does InfoBiz provide for my business specifically?
A3 InfoBiz was developed by a CASE study on "Internet requirements for business information". This study is summarized into a standard which is called "Users or Surfers Friendly Interface or Environment" (In short: USFIE. See the USFIE web site for more details). From this standard we could build up a system that provides services applicable to the most businesses regardless of the business type. InfoBiz therefore provides a solution to the most businesses for information that the people on the street would like to know about.

Q4 What does my company benefit from the service?
A4 First of all, a business can host all their details on the Internet and the information can be viewed on predefined web interface pages (templates). The web interface is the same for all the businesses and therefore no business will be able to favor his/her business above the rest. This also provides all users with a "one-time learning phase" to locate the information that they require. This is available to anyone and can be updated by the business for free as many times as required! Updates to business information is made easy by using simple form filling techniques. To enhance the service further and to make it manageable; every business also receives a unique reference number called the JBNumber or Business Unique Reference Number (BURN) which is directly attached to your business details and which can be used in several ways to promote your business and to distinguish it from the rest. 

This number makes it possible for us to add a SMS service and web service to your business!

To complete the package InfoBiz has build up a well-structured maintenance plan to provide the business with the necessary support and expertise. This support is available for every town individually, depending on the amount of businesses available for each town. As the demand for services increase so will the support network expand.

Q5 How do I get listed for this service?
A5

First you must pre-register your business. Pre-registration can be done in one of several ways (See the left navigation bar under 'register your business' for more details). The pre-registration allows us to allocate the correct Supervisor to your business details. From this pre-registration (which you can view online) you will be informed about the small setup fee and the monthly deduction required in order to change your pre-registration to the full InfoBiz service. After the pre-registration is completed, your details will be available to the Supervisor which will provide you with the necessary support. The service runs on a monthly basis as long as you require the service. If you decide to cancel your registration with us, we will keep your details on our system for another two months for in case you decide to continue with the service (this allows you to pay less for the setup fee).

Q6 Tel me more about the construction and layout of InfoBiz related to the amount I have to pay for this service.
A6 To summarize the InfoBiz service, in perspective to the price you have to pay for the service, we point out the following key features. 
  • You receive enough hosting space to add all your business details to the system.
  • You receive a unique business identification number which allows us to add:
  • SMS capability to your detail.
  • Stand alone web site with a valid URL (Unicode Recourse Locator) to directly point you to your web site details.
  • Web services.
  • A strong support structure that grows along with the amount of businesses available on the system (this allows that we won’t get too big to care for each business individually with support and guidance).
  • Monthly update service (depending on the options you choose) to update your details for you.
  • Your own free to use control panel to update your details by yourself (which requires minimal or no training experience).
  • Incorporated with our system improvements, advertising and technical support through www.JBNet.co.za
  • Finally and maybe one of the most important factors is that your details are provided with a user friendly interface (via USFIE) which allows anyone to view all your business details regardless of any previous knowledge that the person may have about your business location and web page layouts.

Q7 How can I determine if this service is really for us?
A7

The best way to determine the efficiency of our service relating to your business is to apply for this service for one to three months at most. Try to introduce your unique reference number, email address and SMS service to your clients and inform them that all your products and information are now also on-line! See how they respond to it and question them on a later state to determine if they found it useable. If not, then you can cancel the service at the end of the month and InfoCountry will set your business details to “cancelled” for 2 months in case you decide otherwise. No charges will be raised and you pay nothing for the 2 months while it is set to "cancelled". After that period InfoCountry will automatically remove all your details and you would be required to pay the full setup fee again if you would require the service in the future again. If you decide to cancel the service within this short time InfoBiz will ask no questions and will see it as a general precaution to your specific business specifications and needs. For services running longer than three months InfoCountry will send you a form with questions about how you found the service. You are under no obligation to complete the form and InfoBiz will not feel offended if you would send it back without any reply. The form simply provides JBNet and InfoCountry with a better understanding of business needs, and is used for future enhancements.

Q8 What type of businesses can register for this service?
A8

Any business or must we rather say anyone who do any kind of business and which requires Internet exposure. This includes factories, companies, governmental and private businesses, institutions, one-man businesses, people that sells their goods on flee-markets and so forth. We however will not host businesses that could do harm to our service in perspective of their own business’ lack of professionalism, trustfulness and inexcusable behavior and contents.

ANY PERSON OR BUSINESS THAT HOST THEIR INFORMATION AT THE INFOCOUNTRY WEB SITE OR USES THE INFORMATION RETRIEVED FROM IT WILL BE BOUND TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS WEB SITE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR THIS SERVICE, HOWEVER IF YOU DO CONTINUE WITH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BIND YOU TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
